The NFL looked good in PINK
Ready...Set...PINK..
Yesterday, like most football fans I tuned into watch the Colts take on the Seahawks and in a blink of an eye I saw Reggie Wayne's PINK SHOES, then I noticed PINK was everywhere. This was a great call by the NFL to support the awareness of Breast Cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
You see... Even through we look at players like Reggie Wayne, Peyton Manning as great role models; I have to say they are not my "Hero(s)".
My heros are the women who have endured the weeks of Chemo Threapy, radiation treatments, and radical surgeries who have not batted an eye or who have not put their head down when times were tough. These women can take on any tranning camp in the summer heat 10 times over. They are stronger and have more mental toughness than Peyton Manning on any giving Sunday afternoon.
To the the Surviors... Congratuations... You won the biggest game...of your life.. To those that fought a hard tough battle we remember you and your hardships which give us strength never to give up.
To my wife... I am proud of you each and everyday. You are my HERO!
